7 RECOMMENDATIONS TO SATISFY THE KUWAIT’S DEVELOPMENT PLAN - 2035

As it shows in our previous project, which was related to Measuring the Performance of Kuwait’s Development Plan for its first cycle 2010-2014, only 18.9% of its objectives were satisfy! Therefore, it was clearly recommended that the Kuwait’s Government should re-evaluate its management tools to improve the achievement in the next development plan cycle 2015-2019.
In this regard, and to make sure the improvement in the Kuwait’s development plan, EXCPR™ company initiate its efforts to differentiation between the development objectives and observe the best 7 advice's that will improve the current situation to the best one. Also, Mr. Nayef Abduljalel Bastaki – the company’s founder and MD – said the Kuwait’s Development Plan has 6 major strategies which are;

1-      Improve GDP
2-      Private sector and its motivation
3-      Human Development
4-      Population and Social development
5-      Government efficiency
6-      Country identity – Arabic and Islamic 


The above six strategic direction of the development plan, has around 184 goals and sub-objectives. Additionally, around 18.5% of such objectives are fully related to the Kuwait National Assembly- the Parliament, while The Council of Ministers is handling 13.6% of the development plan. Then, and as it shows in the pie charts, other ministries in the country are looking to implement the major share from the development plan, such as for Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor with 12.0% and 10.9% - respectively.  




In this project, the EXCPR ™ Company is looking to shows the criticality of the Development Plan to avoid any barriers ahead. Therefore, by applying the below 7 recommendations, the satisfaction of implementing such plan will increase by 40-55% during the next 5 year, and therefore the total execution will reach 71%. 3.      Set responsibilities

5.      Evaluate the execution
6.      Market the Development Plan
7.      Integration and Cooperation
 
Finally, Mr. Bastaki said, in addition to the above recommendations, the plan’s execution should find and recruit the future leader’s bases on such values and principle. For example, the next leader should understand carefully that without such Development Plan, the country may not grow and it may not compete in the next future.
