The LinkedIn program
is based on bringing together specialists and common professions under a broad
social cover, developing those acquired relationships and making it easier to
communicate with them in different locations around the world. In addition, the
idea of this professional program was based on helping companies and executives
in companies to offer their career opportunities, and to attract the best
desired experiences and skills that are present in the market during a record
period of time. The importance of this program is that it contributes to the
development of the necessary skills among individuals by applying for the
desired technical or administrative positions in companies and institutions in
their various activities. Therefore, such modern software and applications can
be relied upon to update and download your CV anytime, anywhere around the
world. The strong linkage between business implementation and modern technology
has recently become imperative for us as a company seeking to develop
institutional work in the local and GCC region to highlight it and add more
value to the leading business process. EXCPR Consulting studied and analyzed
the dimensions of the use of this program among local and Gulf companies, the
most prominent results of which were as follows:
Gender
The results of the
study, conducted by EXCPR Consulting and Business Management on 12/2019,
indicate that the vast majority of the users of the LinkedIn program in the GCC
region are from the middle of the male segment and by more than 94%, as
described in the following figure:
Smartphone
The aim of this study was to find out
the extent to which the LinkedIn software was used directly through modern smartphones.
In this regard, the results of this study indicate that about 62% of all LinkedIn
users in the GCC region used smartphones to follow their specialized
relationships and communicate with them continuously. The following figure
shows the size of this percentage of smartphone users in GCC region:
Frequency
As for the rate of use of the segment of
actors in this region, the results of the survey of EXCPR Consulting indicate
that about 38% of businessmen and specialists in the Gulf region use these
programs at least once a week. The results of the company's study also show
that 32% of them use the LinkedIn program at a rate of one per day. These
results also show that 29% of managers in the region use this program frequently
during the day - 2 to 3 times a day. The importance of knowing this, in order
to direct the messages used by advertising companies in the development of
commercials of various kinds, in order to influence the decision process of

program in the business community of local and GCC institutions:

As for the most prominent users of the LinkedIn
program in this region, the results of the research conducted by EXCPR
Consulting and Business Management show that 45% of them are in senior
management in their companies. The results of this study also show that other
sectors of employees and managers used such programs by 29% and 26%
respectively:
Purpose
Although the aim of the LinkedIn program
is to bring the specialists together and get the best human resources through
their employment, in addition to the necessary development and rehabilitation
processes, the results of this study confirm the existence of other uses and
reasons for this program in the work of GCC region. The results therefore
indicate that about 19% of users of this program do PR relations work for their
company. An estimated 17% use LinkedIn for a private social platform like the
rest of the social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. An
estimated 14% of users rely on this program for the development and
qualification processes needed to achieve more supervisory positions and
others. The following figure shows the distribution of the rest of the reasons
for using the LinkedIn program in the local region and the rest of the GCC:
In conclusion, investing in such modern
technology programs, using them optimally, would add value in importing the
best technical staff needed to develop the institutional process, in addition
to being a good tool for qualifying workers to progress the career ladder
significantly. The organization is able to remain more and wider in the market
thanks to these highly qualified and efficiency. The importance of the human
element and the skills it possesses have become one of the most important
selection standards pursued by the leading international companies at the moment,
and the skills and abilities factor of the employee has become a top position
on the degree he possesses. It was only after examining the reality that these
companies relied on this strategy and were aware of the amount of productivity
that could be achieved.
